The potency of Bio-K+ capsules is guaranteed until the expiration date and do not require refrigeration. These capsules have optimized stability due to the desiccant sachet contained in each bottle. It keeps the product dry and stable and assures capsules have their full potency until the expiration date. We recommend keeping the desiccant sachet in the bottle!
Bio-K+ drinkable probiotics’ bacetrial count is guaranteed until the best before date if the product is refrigerated. They can be kept out of the fridge for a maximum of 24 hours. The product will still be edible and effective; however, we cannot guarantee the number of bacteria until the best before date and the taste will be more acid and the texture lumpier.*
You can take Bio-K+ probiotics at any time of day, either with or without food. We encourage you to find your own rhythm when taking Bio-K+ products.
